Orascom Construction to distribute interim dividend of $0.18/share

The board of Orascom Construction Plc approved an interim dividend of USD 0.18 per share to the company’s shareholders for fiscal year (FY) ended on 31 December 2021, according to an official statement on Tuesday.

The company shall pay the dividends in US dollars to shareholders holding shares on NASDAQ Dubai and in Egyptian Pounds to shareholders holding shares on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The latter will be based on the USD/EGP sell exchange rate announced by the Central Bank of Egypt on 23 January 2023.

During the first nine months (9M) of 2022, the consolidated net profits of Orascom Construction retreated by 16.62% annually to net $70.20 million from $84.20 million.
