Alexandria Container’s profit jumps 150.7% YoY in H1 FY 2022/23
Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Company (ALCN) has posted a 150.77% year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit after tax for the first half (H1) of fiscal year (FY) 2022/2023, according to financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on January 29th.
The company recorded a net profit of EGP 1.8 billion in the July-December period of 2022, up from EGP 717.76 million in the year-ago period.
The company’s revenues grew 77.93% to EGP 1.99 billion in H1 FY 2022/2023 from EGP 1.11 billion in the same period of the FY before.
