Turkish Beko injects $100m in its projected plant in Egypt
Turkish major appliance and consumer electronics brand Beko indicated Thursday it has invested $100 million in the Egyptian market for their plant project.
General Manager of Beko Egypt Umit Günel made the announcement in a press release. The company in December laid the foundation stone of its Beko Egypt factory. The plant is set to span over 114,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 56,000 meters, encompassing the main production area, administrative buildings, and other various structures, with delivery set to be in a 10-month period.
The project is expected to strengthen Beko’s presence in the local market, offering it a variety of high-quality and innovative home appliances.
Beko is a major Turkish appliance and consumer electronics brand of Arçelik.
