Food Security 'top priority' for Egypt's vision

Minister of International Cooperation, Rania A. Al-Mashat, emphasized the importance of food security as a top priority for the government, especially at this time.

This came during Al-MAshat’s participation in the opening session of the "Cairo Food Summit", under the title "Investing in Achieving Efficiency and Sustainability of Agriculture", which is held under the auspices of the Ministries of International Cooperation, Trade and Industry, Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Finance and Internal Trade. 

 

The participants list included Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade; Al-Sayed Al-Qaisar, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation; Michele Quaroni, Ambassador of Italy in Egypt; and representative of the European Union Ambassador, and the session was moderated by Alaa Ezz, Secretary General of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce.
