The Russian embassy in Cairo stated that its exported wheat to Egypt may reach 8 million tons in the agricultural year 2022-2023.


And the embassy stated in a statement, "The West will not achieve its goals (referring to the sanctions imposed on Moscow)," adding: "For example, the Americans and Europeans failed to disrupt Egypt's supply of Russian wheat ... despite all the obstacles created by the West, and on the contrary.


The statement of the Russian embassy revealed that these supplies of wheat have grown and can reach 8 million tons in the 2022-2023 agricultural year," according to Sputnik news agency.


 


The Russian embassy denied Western allegations about the emergence of global problems such as the food and energy crises, and the Russian special military operation," referring to the Russian war in Ukraine.
