El Molla Inaugurates First Mobile Natural Gas Vehicle Conversion, Maintenance Station
Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla inaugurated the first mobile station for converting and maintaining cars to operate with natural gas, which is the first of its kind in Egypt and the Middle East, the ministry said in a statement.
This comes within the framework of supporting the state’s plan to expand the use of natural gas in cars by providing non-traditional applications and solutions.
The mobile station is characterized by the availability of all components of conversion kits, equipment, and manual tools used in the conversion process in one mobile car.
El Molla highlighted the importance of the station as a pillar that comes within the framework of innovative solutions used by the ministry to support the presidential initiative and the national project to expand the conversion of cars to be fueled by natural gas, which is witnessing a major boom since the launch of the presidential initiative to convert cars to run on gas.
The minister stated that efforts will be exerted to increase these stations, which supports the expansion of activity and contributes to the spread of this service to citizens, institutions, and companies.
