CBE Launches New Website

The central bank of Egypt revealed the launch of a new website on Saturday.

The action is consistent with both international best practises and the Central Bank of Egypt's (CBE) ambition to stay current with technological advancements.

It strives to provide visitors with a singular experience that exceeds their expectations in providing all needed information, as well as making them aware of the many sectors and operations of the bank and helping them quickly recognise the duties and responsibilities of CBE.

The new CBE website has more than 450 websites of rich content, both in Arabic and English, with simple navigational elements, flexible design, and adjustable choices, such as altering font size and colour contrast, taking into account various user visual preferences.

Also, it has a sophisticated search engine, downloadable data, interactive infographics, and numerous financial literacy resources to help financial education.

Also, according to the CBE, the website offers users accurate and recent information on all news and events, including updates on international reserves, capital markets, inflation data, and legislation and regulations governing the banking sector. It also has a section specifically devoted to CBE, the developments in the fintech sector, the growth of the use of digital payments, and the improvements in cybersecurity protocols.
