Emigration minister asserts importance youth empowerment
Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi asserted Friday the importance of youth empowerment and qualifying more cadres through cooperation with international institutions operating in the field of training to provide more opportunities for youths and hone their skills to cope with Egypt’s vision to achieve sustainable development and government plan of action.
This came during the minister’s meeting with Executive Director of the Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt Maggie Nassif and Fulbright Director of Programs Ranya Rashed to review the programs granted to Egyptian youths in the various fields, a statement by the Emigration Ministry released on Friday said.
During the meeting, the minister underlined the importance of investment in human capital and building skills of team work, praising the efforts of Fulbright Association in supporting the capabilities of Egyptian youths and allowing them to study abroad in the various specializations as part of sustained efforts to develop the society.
