Cairo Begins Implementing Electricity Rationalization in Streets, Squares

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel-Aal said that the directives of the Prime Minister regarding the rationalization of electricity in the streets, squares, and government facilities have begun to rationalize energy.

Abdel Aal directed - in a statement Sunday - the heads of neighborhoods to follow up periodically to rationalize electricity consumption in all buildings and facilities of the governorate throughout the official working hours, and to commit to closing the internal and external lighting after the end of official working hours, except for what is required by some places such as hospitals and emergency rooms.
