Petroleum Ministry Adopts Plan to Increase Oil Production from Sinai, Eastern, Western Deserts
Eng. Tariq Al-Mulla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, held the second periodic meeting to follow up on the procedures and plans to raise the operational efficiency of petroleum production companies with small production rates.
However, the results of the current procedures improve the efficiency of operations and joint coordination with a number of production companies in the Eastern Desert.
Al-Mulla stressed, in a press statement, that cooperation and coordination between petroleum production companies is one of the directions pursued by the petroleum sector strategy to support the ability of companies to carry out their operations more efficiently and effectively, in order to take advantage of all possible production opportunities and enhance production rates.
The minister pointed out that the regions of Sinai and the Eastern and Western deserts of Egypt are witnessing steps from the petroleum sector in this regard in order to investment opportunities and possibilities by various traditional and non-traditional means.
