Egyptian president inspects Red Sea's Al Galala resort town
President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi inspected Saturday Al Galala City situated on the northern shores of the Red Sea, where he listened to a presentation on the progress rate of the resort town.
The venue houses Al Galala Heights project, which extends on 120 feddans (one feddan equals 4,500 square meters), and consists of 72 villas, varying in size, and 264 beach houses.
The town is also home to Al Galala University spanning on 19,000 feddans on the “al-Galala al- Bahareya”, which lies 700 meters above sea-level in the Red Sea area between Ain Sokhna and Zafarana.
The university comprises 13 faculties in various scientific disciplines such as engineering, management, public policy, biotechnology, pharmacology, and food science.
The establishment also includes the faculties of arts, humanities and social sciences, media, medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, and nursing. The capacity of the university's three phases is 12,750.
