Trade exchange bet. Egypt, African markets hits $2.117B in Q1 of 2023
Trade Exchange and the markets of the African continent amounted to $2.117 billion during the first quarter of 2023, according to the Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry, Ahmed Samir.
In an official statement, Samir explained that Egyptian exports to the continent amounted to $1.611 billion, and Egyptian imports from the continent amounted to $506 million.
A report from the General Authority for Export and Import Control on trade exchange between Egypt and the African continent during the first quarter of 2023 stated that the ministry is working during the current stage to achieve economic integration between the countries of the continent of Africa and to overcome obstacles that may hinder the movement of trade between countries.
