After 8 year hiatus, Egypt Air cargo flight arrives at Tripoli’s Mitiga airport
After a hiatus of more than 8 years, the first EgyptAir cargo flight arrived at Tripoli’s Mitiga airport last Saturday. Egypt Air is planning to run five flights per week, Libya’s Transport Ministry reported.
The resumption of the cargo flight can be seen as further evidence of increased trade between Tripoli and Egypt, beyond trade already entering from Egypt by land through eastern Libya.
