Communications Min.: More than 90% of Data Traffic between Asia, EU Passes through Egypt

Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, affirmed that Egypt's digital strategy aims to achieve a number of goals, which are enhancing the contribution of the sector to the gross domestic product, attracting foreign investments to the sector, in addition to integrating technology in various sectors of the country to supporting Egypt's capabilities in the field of international connectivity.

This came in a speech delivered by Talaat, during the meeting, which was organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo.
