FDC Summit supports cybersecurity, with participation of over 6,000 professionals
The organizing committee of the FDC Summit has announced the participation of more than 6,000 specialists in the activities of the summit’s fifth session, under the auspices of Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications.
The event has grown by more than 25% compared to last year 2022 in terms of the number of attendees, exhibitors and speakers. It included the participation of more than 80 speakers in 60 panel discussions and technical lectures on many topics, most notably the future of digital transformation, modern global trends in the field of cybersecurity, the data center industry, the Internet of things, and artificial intelligence.
According to an official statement issued by the Organizing Committee of the event, the activities of the fifth session witnessed holding a number of bilateral meetings between the vice presidents of the participating international companies, namely Erjan Aydin, Vice President of Emerging Markets at PALO ALTO NETWORKS; Mark Jo, Chief Technology Officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at PALO ALTO NETWORKS; Pierre Castelno, Vice President, EMEA, F5; Gaurav Mohan, Regional Vice President, NETSCOUT; Marks Josephson, Vice President, Nozomi Networks. They met with a number of government agencies such as the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA), the Information Technology Industry Development Authority (ITIDA), and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The meetings aimed to get them acquainted with Egypt’s future vision in the field of communications and information technology in general and the state’s efforts to enhance the future of cybersecurity solutions and products in particular.
The meetings also aimed to discuss ways to enhance the investments of international companies in the Egyptian market.
