Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh top Egypt tourist airports

The Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh international airports saw the highest operating rates in Egyptian tourist airports during the first half of the year

Hurghada International Airport received nearly 3.25 million passengers, with a total of 22,000 flights, an increase of 30.5 percent compared to the same period last year.

Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport received 2.25 million passengers, with a total of 16,000 flights, an increase of 28 percent compared to the same period last year.
