Suez Canal Revenues Hit 50.9 Billion in 10 Years
Data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics (CAPMAS) showed on Friday that the revenues of the Suez Canal amounted to $50.9 billion during the past 10 years, and that the number of ships crossing the canal reached 186,900 ships during those years.
The Suez Canal recorded the highest revenue during 2021/2022, valued at $7 billion; a record high of 18.4%, compared to the previous fiscal year, the statistics service said.
