Egypt's Exports of Fertilizers to Various Countries Grew by 42%
Mohamed Magid, Executive Director of the Export Council for Chemical Industries and Fertilizers, said that Egypt's exports of fertilizers to various countries of the world achieved a growth rate of about 42% during 2022, reaching a value of $3.38 billion, compared to about $2.4 billion in 2021.
The first round of the Agro Egypt exhibition, under the strategic sponsorship of the Export Council for Chemical Industries, will start tomorrow, Sunday, July 9, and will continue until July 11, 2023.
Many sectors affiliated with the Council (fertilizers - pesticides - agricultural supplies - irrigation systems...etc.) are participating in the exhibition in the presence of 40 Egyptian companies and participations from about 20 investors and importers from foreign countries (Ghana - Iraq - Kenya - Spain - Saudi Arabia - Morocco) and representatives from embassies India and England.
Eng. Khaled Abu Al-Makarem, Chairman of the Export Council for Chemical Industries and Fertilizers, affirmed the Council's keenness to provide a platform for the sector's companies to display their products through their participation in the Agro Egypt exhibition.
