Hilton Group to operate hotels in Maspero Towers, Cairo Citadel Aqueduct

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli attended Wednesday the signing ceremony of two contracts between the Ministry of Housing's City Edge and Hilton Group for the latter to operate Double Tree Hotel located in Maspero Towers and another that will carry the chain's name in Cairo Citadel Aqueduct.

The Double Tree Hotel, consisting of 260 rooms and suites, will be inaugurated on June 30, 2028. As for the Hilton Cairo Citadel Aqueduct Hotel, it will enter service by the end of 2026. It includes 218 rooms and suites, gym, spa, swimming pool, restaurants, and ballrooms. 

Prime Minister Madbouli noted that the contracts are a milestone given that both areas were slums, but have been revamped by the government to the extent that a globally reputable hospitality chain gained the confidence to invest in them.
