Egypt launches 20 mobile tech centers for government services in El-Alamein
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala El-Said witnessed Monday the launch of 20 mobile technology centers at the government headquarters at El-Alamein. The centers aim to provide governmental services for the citizens of Matrouh and Alexandria.
The project comes in line with presidential initiatives to better provide accessible government services to the citizens.
Madbouly stressed on the importance of this project for developing more advanced connective services. He explained that the project aims to simplify and digitize the access to such services.
A media campaign will be created to market for this project, and provide details on the different utility services, the location of such centers, the provided services, working hours, cost, and the hotline to communicate with the units.
El-Said stated that the Ministry is in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization and has finalized 53 mobile technology units. The units will be providing services in partnership with the Ministry of Justice and Civil Justice, and the Ministry of Interior’s Civil Status Sector to reach a total of 250 transportable centers.
