EgyptAir Plans to Increase Aircraft Fleet
PM Mostafa Madbouly held a meeting Tuesday to follow up on the efforts to develop EgyptAir, in the presence of the Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Abbas Helmy, and EgyptAir's Chairman Yehia Zakaria.
The Prime Minister affirmed the state's interest in exerting more efforts to develop the flag carrier, in a way that enhances its competitiveness at the regional and international levels, and maximizes Egypt's advantages to achieve more economic goals.
Nader Saad, the official spokesperson for the Cabinet stated that the meeting reviewed the efforts to develop EgyptAir, and future plans to increase the size of the company's aircraft fleet, in addition to expanding the airline network, in addition to targeting new markets.
The meeting also discussed the executive position of a number of projects that are being established in the civil aviation sector, especially with regard to modernizing airports and increasing their capacity, in addition to the development of navigation and air control systems, as well as the services provided through this vital sector.
