Egypt’s Culture Minister Inaugurates 1st Suez Book Fair

Egypt's Minister of Culture Nevien El-Kilany and the Governor of Suez Abdel Megid Saqr inaugurated the 1st edition of Suez Book Fair on Saturday, August 26.

The book fair is organized by the General Egyptian Book Organisation (GEBO) and runs until Sept. 4 in the Suez Cultural Palace.

It includes books published by the GEBO, for both adults and children with sections for translated and other languages books.

Suez Book Fair showcases a large number of high-quality books by 40 exhibitors to meet the demand of a wide variety of readers.

The book fair also hosts several cultural performances and entertainment shows for children, as well as cultural seminars.
