Marsa Alam Airport receives 139 flights from Europe
The Marsa Alam International Airport, south of the Red Sea is set to receive 139 tourist flights coming from European airports, carrying about 28,000 tourists of different European nationalities, starting from Saturday until Friday, according to the airport’s operating schedule.
Tourist expert Atef Othman confirmed that tourists from Germany, Italy, Poland and the Czech Republic make up the majority of the passengers coming to Marsa Alam.
Recovering tourism
Othman previously confirmed the recovery of tourism in Marsa Alam hotels and resorts, coinciding with the high rates of inbound tourist flights from Europe.
