Agriculture Min.: Food Security in Arab World Requires New Mechanisms to Boost Productivity

The Egyptian Minister of Agriculture Al Sayed el-Quseir confirmed that the issue of Arab food security is one of the most pressing challenges facing the developed and developing countries of the world.

He pointed out that the meeting of Arab agricultural ministers is discussing ways to activate joint Arab agricultural action, adding, during his speech at the meeting of Arab agricultural ministers held Tuesday at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, that achieving Arab food security requires searching for new mechanisms to develop agricultural productivity and build more comprehensive agricultural systems.
