Huawei announces $430 mln 5-year investment plan for North Africa
The plan allocates $200 million for building the company’s first cloud center in North Africa, which will provide over 200 cloud computing services.
Intelligent Future will also invest $200 million to support 200 of Huawei's local technology partners and 1,300 distributors.
Huawei will inject $30 million in investments to boost smart transformation in North Africa through training 10,000 local developers and 100 tech specialists.
The investments were announced on the sidelines of the Huawei Connect conference held in Shanghai between 20 and 22 September.
Business leaders, tech experts, partners, developers, and industry stakeholders from around the world attended the conference to explore new prospects for an intelligent future.
