Afreximbank Offers Egypt Financing Worth $29 Billion
Egypt's Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, recently met with Dr. Benedict Oramah, the president of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank). This gathering was part of the third "Belt and Road International Cooperation Forum" events and was attended by Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, and Ambassador Asim Hanafi, Egypt's ambassador to China.
In a press statement, the Prime Minister began by welcoming the bank's president and his delegation. He expressed his appreciation for the close partnership between Egypt and Afreximbank. Madbouly also conveyed his eagerness to expand the scope of collaboration and to increase the bank's investments in developmental projects in Egypt.
