Oraimo launches first locally made smartwatch, earphones in Egypt

Oraimo, acclaimed as Africa's number one True Wireless Sound (TWS) and Power bank brand, has opened up its debut production line in Egypt. This new factory is strategically located in the Silicon Valley for Electronic Industries (SVEi) based in the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) in Ain Sokhna. Officially inaugurated back in September, it's the pioneer factory in Egypt explicitly focused on manufacturing mobile accessories. The strategic move aligns perfectly with the blueprint of Egypt Vision 2030, which aims to decrease reliance on imports by significantly boosting local production and exports. The facility has kicked off its operations by manufacturing two of Oraimo’s hit products, the Oraimo Watch Lite and the FreePods 3C earphones. These smart devices stand out as the first ever to be manufactured locally. They will be soon available in other African countries too. The factory has provided job opportunities for 57 local workers and two senior managers, all trained to help the brand meet its commitment to nurturing local talent and contributing to the local technological and economic development. Oraimo, established in 2014, made its first foray into the Egyptian market in 2017 and has been enjoying significant growth since then. The first batch of the 'Made in Egypt' Oraimo products, symbolizing national pride, is now available in the marketplace.
