Military Production Minister, Spain's 'Quimica 21' company discuss bilateral cooperation
State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Saleheldin held a discussion with a delegation from the Spanish company 'QUÍMICA 21' pertaining to boosting bilateral cooperation in various manufacturing domains. The meeting, which took place at the ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, focused on establishing a factory for producing dry powder used in filling fire extinguishers. Ministry Spokesman Mohamed Eid Bakr corroborated this on Friday 03/11/2023. Minister Salehedin articulated the ministry's eagerness to apply President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's instructions on transferring and acclimatizing modern manufacturing technologies via cooperation with several local and international private sector corporations. This initiative comes in response to current global changes. Other notable attendees of the meeting included Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Military Production Authority and Managing Director Emil Helmy Elias, and a number of the ministry’s leaders. QUÍMICA 21, S.L. was founded in 1990 to produce class ABC, BC, and D powder extinguishers catering to the immediate needs of the Spanish market.
