Switzerland returns 26 archaeological treasures to Egypt

In November 2018, Switzerland returned 26 archaeological treasures to Egypt, in accordance with its obligations under the 1970 UNESCO Convention.  The items date from between the 3rd millennium BC and the 4th century BC. The goods had been confiscated in two criminal cases in the cantons of Lucerne and Valais.
