Health Minister briefed on ‘smart hospitals’ experience during China visit

Health and Population Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar got acquainted with the “smart hospitals” experience during his visit to one of the Chinese hospitals.

During the visit, the minister toured the departments of the outpatient clinics, emergency, laboratories, pediatrics, and intensive care, said Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.

The Minister also listened to a detailed explanation from one of the hospital’s officials about the employment program of the hospital, added the spokesman.

The Minister was briefed about the electronic reservation mechanism in outpatient clinics, which succeeded in eliminating the phenomenon of hospital crowding, he further said.
