Ritz-Carlton plans a second hotel in Egypt
Marriott International has entered an agreement with Palm Hills Developments for the launch of the Ritz-Carlton Cairo, Palm Hills.
Expected to open in 2027, the luxury property is expected to include 150 guestrooms and 50 one-, two- and three-bedroom serviced apartments and will be Ritz-Carlton's second property in Egypt -- the Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo is located in the heart of the Egyptian capital. Facilities at the planned West Cairo property are expected to include five dining venues, a spa, fitness center, pool, kids' club and state-of-the-art meetings and event facilities.

Part of Palm Hills, a luxury mix-use community in the suburbs of West Cairo, the hotel will boast views of the Pyramids of Giza and will also overlook the Palm Hills Golf Course. The new-build property will make up a part of the Palm Hills West Cairo development, which will consist of residential, commercial, dining offerings and entertainment areas.
