Huawei launches Huawei Cloud for Startups 2024 programme in Egypt
The programme aims to provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with cloud services, technical support, and training to enhance their capabilities, equipping startups with the tools to drive business growth, as per the statement.
The launch of the programme was announced during the Huawei Cloud Startup Summit, held under the theme "Unleash the Power of Startups," with several prominent Egyptian officials and businessmen in attendance.
This initiative builds upon the success of the Huawei Cloud programme, which was launched in Egypt and North Africa in 2022. Since its inception, the programme has supported over 56 startups in Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco.
During the summit, Huawei also signed a cooperation agreement with Entlaq, an Egyptian company specializing in supporting entrepreneurship projects, to provide technology-based startups with access to Huawei's cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing.
Through this partnership, Huawei and Entlaq will offer a joint programme allowing startups to leverage Huawei's high-tech services, while Entlaq will extend consultations to startups affiliated with the Huawei Cloud programme.
