Cairo Book Fair's 55th Edition Begins, Showcasing Global Literature

The 55th Cairo International Book Fair is set to launch in Egypt International Exhibition Center, Cairo, on January 24, 2024. 

With the participation of 1200 publishers from 70 countries, the fair, themed "We Make Knowledge, We Preserve the Word," will run until February 6. 

Norway is honored as the guest of the year, and Egyptologist Dr. Selim Hassan and writer Yacoub El-Sharouni are spotlighted. 

The event, emphasizing cultural exchange and creative interaction, aligns with the Egyptian Ministry of Culture's commitment to cultural equity and openness.
