Air Arabia Egypt launches new route to Istanbul
Air Arabia Egypt has unveiled plans to launch a new direct route connecting Cairo International Airport (CAI) and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW), starting from 2 April.
The airline will operate three weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, utilising its Airbus 320 fleet to provide travellers with more convenient and affordable travel options.
Flight schedule
Flight E5 987 will depart from CAI at 11:10 AM, arriving in Istanbul at 02:25 PM local time.
Meanwhile, the return flight, E5 988, will depart from SAW at 03:20 PM, reaching Cairo at 04:30 PM local time.
“We are glad to introduce our new non-stop flights from Cairo to Istanbul, marking another significant milestone for Air Arabia Egypt. This expansion aligns with our commitment to providing seamless travel options to our passengers,” Air Arabia Group CEO, Adel Al Ali said, highlighting that the new service will not only strengthen connectivity but also cater to the growing demand for travel between the two cities.
