Egypt targets Danish investments in infrastructure, IT

The Egyptian Embassy in Copenhagen organized earlier this week a roundtable discussion on investment opportunities in the sectors of energy, constructions, infrastructure, water, irrigation, information technology, food, and handicrafts.

The discussion was held in collaboration with the Danish-African Business Association, and attended by heads of a number of Danish SMEs as well as Chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Hossam Heiba.

In March 2023, the Suez Canal Authority and Denmark's Maersk signed a new agreement to boost joint cooperation in the fields of training, green transformation, building marine tugs and ship recycling.
