Health ministry chairs national group meeting to support Equatorial Guinea

The Health and Population Ministry held a meeting with the ministers concerned from Equatorial Guinea in accordance with a decision by the prime minister to form a national working group, to be chaired by the ministry.

The move comes in implementation of directives of the political leadership regarding supporting African continent countries, particularly Equatorial Guinea.

Spokesman for the Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said the virtual meeting explained steps made by the Egyptian state to localize and strengthen the medication industry, vaccines and medical supplies.

The meeting also probed achievements made by the ministry at the local and African levels, with special focus on unifying the system of providing medications and medical supplies and equipment through the Unified Procurement Authority with high quality and suitable prices.
