Molla: Oil products market in Egypt promising, growing
Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla emphasized that the petroleum products marketing market in Egypt has many advantages with promising opportunities, growth, and development, resulting in significant competition among distribution companies, stressing that this market requires advanced entities capable of mastering marketing, innovation, and developing and refining the skills of workers to deliver outstanding business results.
During the general assembly to approve the business results of the Nile Petroleum Marketing Company for the past year 2023, El Molla confirmed that coordination and cooperation among petroleum entities in common areas enriches work. He pointed out that petroleum product marketing companies provide a distinguished system in performance, coverage, development, and provision of supply and integrated services needed by car owners and the supply of economic and productive sectors with their petroleum product needs.
The minister commended the Nile Petroleum Marketing Company for its contributions within the system regarding fulfilling the petroleum needs of Upper Egypt and expanding its provision of car fueling services with natural gas at its stations, given the returns it provides and its contribution to achieving the ministry's plans for the spread and ease of access to this civilized service.
He also expressed gratitude to the workers for their achievements, especially in achieving economic goals in Upper Egypt, maximizing the utilization of resources and assets, and enhancing competitiveness.
On his part, Engineer Ahmed Eid, the company's president, explained that they have 75 stations and 12 new stations under construction in Al Khwataka, Kharifah Dirout, Manqabad, Nazlat Abdallah, the industrial city in Asyut, Girga, Dar Al Salam in Sohag, Al Ghunaimiyah, Benban in Aswan, the new axis in Mallawi, El Fayoum, Al Farafrah in New Valley, and Al Salehiyah in Sharqia.
