Housing Ministry, WB officials probe cooperation in water projects

Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem al-Gazzar on Saturday 06/04/2024 followed up on the ongoing discussions between officials of the Housing Ministry and representatives of the World Bank (WB) on the cooperation mechanisms regarding the drinking water and sewage system projects.

The discussions fall within the framework of continued cooperation between the Housing Ministry and development partners to implement Egypt Vision 2030.

Deputy Housing Minister for Infrastructure Affairs Sayed Ismail discussed with officials of the bank progress achieved in projects carried out in cooperation with the bank, in the presence of officials of the Ministry’s Program Management Unit (PMU).

Ismail expounded the policies of the infrastructure sector as well as its future plans and visions in implementing drinking water, sewage and water treatment projects that aim to enhance services provided to citizens.
