13 Egyptian universities listed in QS World University Rankings 2024
Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Ayman Ashour said on Sunday 14/04/2024 that 13 Egyptian universities were listed in the QS World University Rankings 2024 that classifies more than 15,559 universities around the world arranged by academic and scientific standards.
The universities are Cairo University, the American University in Cairo, Alexandria University, Ain Shams University, Mansoura University, Al Azhar University, Assiut University, Helwan University, the Arab Academy for Sciences, the German University in Cairo, Zaqziq University, Tanta University and Suez Canal University.
Cairo University was listed among leading universities is six areas; Archaeology, Dentistry, Development Studies, Hospitality Management, Linguistics and Statistics and Operational Research.
Cairo University also ranked 38th globally for the first time in the field of library and information management to be followed by Alexandria University.
The American University in Cairo was listed among top universities in the fields of politics, sociology, accounting and finance, business and management studies, and modern languages.
The rankings aim to help prospective students identify the world’s leading schools in their chosen field in response to high demand for subject-level comparisons.
