Shell and partners begin drilling three new offshore wells west of the Nile Delta

The eleventh phase of the development project involves the drilling of three new wells, while as part of the tenth phase of the development project, approved by the concession partners in 2023, three more wells are currently being drilled since last March.
According to the company statement, “the 11th and 17th drilling phases represent a great opportunity to improve operations and costs.” Shell and its partners developed the West Delta Deep Marine area in 300 phases. The concession has 1.200 gas fields, located at depths between 90 and 120 meters and extending approximately XNUMX to XNUMX kilometers off the coast.
