Egypt textile circularity programme concludes

An initiative to foster circular economy practices within Egypt's textile and garment industries has completed after five years in which the organisers claim to have achieved progress.

The SwitchMed III initiative was funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in eight Southern Mediterranean countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia.
