Egyptian Logistics Startups OneOrder Raises USD 16 M Series A
OneOrder, a tech supply chain and logistics solution that aims to revolutionize the hotel, restaurant, and catering (HoReCa) industries in Egypt, announces that it has raised USD 16 M in equity and debt in a Series A round to expand into the GCC region, beginning with the UAE. The round is led by previous investor Delivery Hero Ventures, with participation from Norrsken22 as well as Egypt-based Nclude and A15. This follows a USD 1 M pre-seed and USD 3 M seed round in February and December 2022, respectively.
Founded in 2022 by Tamer Amer and Karim Maurice, OneOrder is a tech-enabled supplier and wholesale distributor that offers F&B industry a supply of quality goods with embedded financing. OneOrder helps restaurants and food businesses source fresh and packaged food products in large quantities directly from suppliers through its platform. The startup looks to address the supply chain inefficiencies faced by Egypt’s restaurants by connecting them directly to local food and beverage suppliers. The company plans to expand into the GCC by autumn of 2024.
