GAFI discuss investment opportunities in tourism sector with Turkish companies

During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation and potential partnerships with the hotel sector were discussed to enhance modern hotel equipment.

The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) held a series of promotional meetings on Sunday with leading Turkish companies in tourism investment and hotel sector, on the sidelines of the African Tourism Forum in Sharm el-Sheikh.


The GAFI officials met with representatives of Tripholi Company to discuss investment plans in the luxury hotel sector in the cities of Sharm el-Sheikh and New Alamein, as well as its interest in developing business hotels in Cairo, which contributes to strengthening the hotel infrastructure and supporting the business sector in Egypt.


The forum also witnessed a meeting with the Kilit Hotels Group, which owns a group of tourist hotels in Turkey in addition to manufacturing hotel supplies of electrical appliances and tableware.


During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation and potential partnerships with the hotel sector were discussed to enhance modern hotel equipment in the Egyptian market.


In addition, a meeting was held with the Toura Company, which works in the field of manufacturing modern hotel furniture, where ways of cooperation were discussed to provide Egyptian hotels with the latest designs and equipment that meet the needs of the luxury hotel sector.


The meetings displayed the great interest that Turkish companies pay in the Egyptian market.


Representatives of the Turkish companies praised the enormous potential of the Egyptian market, the facilities provided by the Egyptian government to support foreign investment and the great diversity of tourist destinations.


This makes Egypt an ideal destination for investment in the tourism and hotel sector, which is one of the pillars of the national economy.
