Madbouly made the announcement during a meeting to follow up the current status of forming the strategic stock of fuel necessary to operate power plants, within the government’s plan to end load shedding during the summer months starting on the third week of July.
Madbouly explained that by the end of next week, the requested reserves will have already been completed.
Cabinet spokesperson Mohamed al-Homosany said that the Prime Minister also reviewed the plan to create the strategic stock of fuel necessary to operate power plants.
This plan includes increasing the strategic reserves of diesel and diesel, he added, as part of the government’s commitment to halt the government-ordered power outages during summer.
