EasyJet promotes Egyptian tourism in London through unique campaign
British airline company EasyJet, one of the largest tourism companies in the world, has launched a unique campaign to promote tourist trips in Egypt.
This innovative campaign features three people dressed as Anubis, the Egyptian god of the dead, walking through the streets of London in front of famous landmarks such as Big Ben and London Eye, inviting passers-by to visit Egypt – coinciding with the launch of a new airline to Luxor.
The idea successfully aught the attention of many citizens in London, especially in Piccadilly Circus, Westminster Circus and Oxford Circus.
The trio appeared promoting the new tour offers offered by the tourism company to the city of Luxor, including the company’s first cruise packages.
EasyJet announced that vacationers can book the new Luxor packages in November, according to the company’s official website.
The commercial director at EasyJet Holidays Paul Bixby said: “The reason we chose the idea here in London is because it’s not every day we come face to face with Egyptian gods, especially in central London, so it was great to see people’s reactions.”
The company encourages citizens to travel to Egypt, saying: “Our new Nile cruises make access to the grandeur of ancient Egypt more accessible than ever before with a range of options to choose from, including the Iberotel Crown Empress and Jaz Crown Jubilee.”
