133-Acre Dry Port Project to be Developed in Alexandria

The Egyptian Cabinet has recently authorised the Ministry of Transport to finalise the contract for the building and operating of the Borg El Arab dry port and logistics project.

Dry Port Project Details

The project is set to be developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework.

The selected company will be expected to finance, design, construct, manage, maintain, and transfer the dry port and logistics centre upon its completion.

The project is spread over an area of 133 acres within the Borg El Arab City located in Alexandria, Egypt, and comes under a 30-year concession, as per a statement posted on the Cabinet’s website on Thursday.
