Egypt’s Premier Promises more Incentives to Kuwaiti Investors
During the meeting, the Prime Minister touched on the current regional situation, including the war in Gaza and the instability it caused in the region, the unrest in the Red Sea and the revenues of the Suez Canal affected by these events, and the situation in Sudan, saying: "the region is in an unprecedented circumstance, and these events impose enormous pressure on us."
"Madbouly" expressed his aspiration to attract more Kuwaiti investments to Egypt, in light of the availability of many promising investment opportunities in the Egyptian market in various sectors, which Kuwaiti companies can benefit from, stressing that he will support any Kuwaiti investments that want to operate in Egypt, while granting it all the necessary investment incentives, and granting the golden license for these projects.
The Prime Minister pointed to increasing Egypt's share of Kuwaiti petroleum products, and his aspiration to increase Kuwaiti investments in the oil and gas sector and petrochemical industries.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait expressed his appreciation for the good reception he received and his accompanying delegation during his current visit to Egypt to chair the work of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Joint Committee.
Al-Yahya stressed that Egypt enjoys a special place in the hearts of all Kuwaitis.
Since the establishment of the State of Kuwait, Egyptian expertise has played a prominent role in drafting the Kuwaiti constitution, and Egypt has made great contributions in the field of education in the Arab country, in addition to great sacrifices during the period of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.
