Hayel Saeed Anam Group acquires Kellanova share in BiscoMisr

Muneer Hayel Saeed, Chairman of ARMA Group and Board Member at HAS, signed the agreement with Robert Chanmugam, Managing Director for the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, and Sub-Saharan Africa at Kellanova.

Saeed said the agreement boosts the growth of BiscoMisr, which he described as a highly valued and iconic brand in Egypt.

He also emphasized that they are committed to continuing to grow their investments in Egypt and contribute to its economic prosperity.

For his part, Chanmugam noted that the deal is a strategic step demonstrating the positive climate and potential for investment in the Egyptian market.

He added that they will continue to invest in Egypt to grow their business, develop local talent, and bring innovation to the Egyptian market through their portfolio of cereals, snacks, and noodles products to meet the demand of Egyptian consumers.

Founded in 1957, BiscoMisr is one of the largest biscuit companies in Egypt and one of the top 5 in the Middle East and Africa.

BiscoMisr owns three main facilities, one in Cairo and two in Alexandria, where it produces and distributes biscuits and other goods.

Hayel Saeed Anam Group operates in various business activities worldwide, including producing edible oils, dairy products, biscuits, and sweets.

The group also works in sugar refining, carton manufacturing, and cement manufacturing. It also provides printing and packaging services.

Kellanova is a global company famous for producing cereals, noodles, and plant-based foods under iconic and world-class brands.
