Dollar Drops against Egyptian Pound to 48.48

The price of the dollar dropped against the Egyptian pound in most of the banks operating in the market by the end of trading on Wednesday, while the price increased in the Bank of Alexandria and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), and stabilized in the Banque du Caire, compared to its level yesterday.

The dollar depreciated against the Egyptian currency by about 20 piastres to record EGP 48.48 to buy and EGP 48.62 to sell at the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The European single currency recorded  54.23 to buy and 54.39 to sell, the pound sterling recorded 64.80 to buy and 64.99 to sell, while Canadian Dollar settled at 36.08 to buy and 36.20 to sell.
