Egypt Operates Free Flights to Repatriate Citizens from Lebanon
The Egyptian Embassy in Lebanon announced the start of free flights to return Egyptians residing in Lebanon and wishing to return to Egypt, based on directives from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Ambassador Alaa Moussa confirmed that these flights are part of a series of efforts made by the Egyptian state to facilitate the return of its children, noting that the flights provided are free, unlike what some other missions have organized.
The embassy also called on citizens who have not yet registered their data to communicate via its Facebook page, to register their data and ensure their inclusion in the upcoming flights.
The embassy added that citizens who have a non-Egyptian husband or wife must provide a copy of the certified marriage certificate, stressing that it will contact those registered to include them among the passengers as soon as possible.
